Whippet was my first incursion in cinema. I joined the team of José María and Ricardo Espinosa de los Monteros in the creation of a short film about a young man lost in the world of drugs and prostitution. Producing is one the most tiresome jobs, but also one of the most rewarding. Getting locations, having all the gear ready, coordinating all the different departments, seeing that the actors are comfortable; all of that implies a great deal of organizational skills and, let me say this, a lot of patience. The worst days are before filming; when we where in the actual set, everything went well. In the last day of filming, we ended up dancing disco music in Patrick Miller, a very well known joint in Mexico City.
