Inequality in all areas is one of the top problems in Mexico. Inequality does not allow us to have a broad development; it maintains wealth with a small group of people. That is why OxFam’s work is so important. All of their projects are focused in reducing the inequality that permeates in the countries they work, and to make them a little bit more just. In this particular work, the main goal was to communicate a great paradox: Mexico is the 14th economy of the world, and yet, we have a great deal of poverty. The first four were made with Mijáil and Johanna, designers at More Starch. The idea was to show the great potential that Mexico has, it’s opportunities, while always keeping in mind the challenges that we have to overcome.
