In More Starch, the creative agency I worked with, I had many opportunities to make animations. Mimoni is a great example. There is something I love in the process of watching an idea, a storyboard, something static, lifeless, come to life. Mimoni is an online web page for loans. Loans are not something to take lightly: people ask for money when they desperately need something. That’s why we tried to convey visually that Mimoni is a safe place to ask for money in times of need. The best part, I repeat, is the process of creating the animation: designing characters, giving them a personality, a history; I loved all of that.
